Chattanooga Stinks Today is a free, community-run map of crowdsourced smell reports. By using the site you agree to these terms.

What this site is (and isn't)

Smell reports are anonymous opinions submitted by anyone with a nose and a web browser. They are provided for community interest and entertainment. They are not health, safety, air quality, or emergency information.

If you smell gas, suspect a chemical leak, or believe there is any threat to health or safety, do not consult this website — call 911 or your local utility immediately.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit reports by automated means (bots, scripts, replays)
• Deliberately submit false reports to manipulate the map
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse the service

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any report, the availability of the service, or that the air will smell better tomorrow.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of this site are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its data.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be posted here with its effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA.
